Phillies | SP Phillippe Aumont pounded
by George Utter on March 4, 2010
Scott Purks, of The Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Phillies SP Phillippe Aumont allowed five runs while giving up two hits and walking three against Florida State University Wednesday, March 3.
Our Instinct: Not a good start to the spring schedule for a guy the Phillies held in high enough regards to let go of Cliff Lee for. I guess the good news here is that he’s healthy, it’s early, and it can’t get much worse, right?
