Chris Haft, of MLB.com, reports San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum allowed two hits, two walks and three runs in his first inning of work in the team’s spring opener against the Seattle Mariners Wednesday, March 3. Lincecum said his balance was off, causing his velocity to drop and throwing his release point off. “I wasn’t really consistent with my form,” Lincecum said. “But other than that, my body still felt good; my rhythm still felt good. Getting more consistent and throwing more pitches is going to help me out.”
