Cubs prospect Tyler Colvin raised his spring average to .517 yesterday.
Our Instinct: Colvin has had some ups and down in his progression through the minor leagues but has enough of a skill set and history with the bat to make his spring average something to take note of. If he can continue his plate discipline growth he could be an average OF for the Cubs. It won’t happen this season as long as the Cubs are in the hunt for Central though.
