Cardinals | 1B Albert Pujols simply the best
Albert Pujols went 4-for-5 with two homers and four runs scored on opening day.
Our Instinct: Any doubts that he’s the best player in baseball, Bart? Yeah, he’s just that damn good.

Closing in on 25 years of following the greatest game in the world very closely. I can remember as a kid how excited I was when a player that I had watched in the minors make his major league debut. The same holds true today. We designed Baseball Instinct with that in mind; getting you the fan excited to get out and see the see the stars of tomorrow - today!

Yeah, Geo I am just afraid this Pujolz guy is all smoke and mirrors. Where is the consistency? What about the measly .334 lifetime batting average? The anemic .629 lifetime slugging percentage? First player to hit 30 or more home runs in the first nine seasons of his career, as well the second player to have 100 or more RBIs in the same timespan? Honestly I am just worried he might a be a flash-in-the-pan.
