Nationals | 3B Ryan Zimmerman troubled with hamstrings
by George Utter on April 11, 2010
The Washington Post’s Adam Kilgore reports Washington Nationals 3B Ryan Zimmerman (hamstrings) left the game against the New York Mets Saturday, April 10, in the sixth inning, because of tight hamstrings.
Our Instinct: Zimmerman is likely to miss a few games until those hamstrings loosen up some. Go ahead and bench him, but monitor the situation. He is an elite 3B option and once he is ready to play again, you got to get him back into your lineup.
