Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz went 1 for 3 with his first hr of the season Friday. He’s now hitting a robust .159 on the season.
Our Instinct: While we are glad that it didn’t take Ortiz 2 months like in 2009 to hit a hr, he’s still far from being back. Keep him benched until he can start stringing together some hits.
