Toledo Hens starting pitcher Ruddy Lugo was hit in the head on a line-drive by Columbus second baseman Jason Donald in the top of the first in Toledo’s 6-2 loss to the Clippers Friday at Fifth-Third Field.
Our Instinct: Lugo was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but has been upgraded to good condition. It’s a part of the game taking a comebacker to the pitcher, which is always scary as hell.
