Kansas City Royals SP Zack Greinke pitched 7 shutout innings while striking out 5 and walking no Seattle Mariners, yet was denied his 1st win again by the Royals bullpen.
Our Instinct: Why do the Royals keep parading John Parish, Josh Rupe, and Robinson Tejeda out to blow games? It’s bad enough that the anemic Royals offense barely gives Greinke any margin of error. David Glass, Dayton Moore, and Trey Hillman need to figure it out or get out of baseball entirely.
