Blue Jays | SP Ricky Romero pitches amazing game
by George Utter on May 16, 2010
Toronto Blue Jays SP Ricky Romero had the game of his career Saturday night in defeating the Texas Rangers 6-0 on 5 hits, 1 walk and 12 k’s. It was Romero’s 1st complete game of his career.
Our Instinct: This was certainly the fantasy performance of the night. Romero now has a 2.88 era with 59 k’s and 21 walks in 56.1 innings. His last 2 outings were shaky, but to do this to a lineup like Texas offers is pretty awesome. Keep rolling him out there.
