Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw picked up his third win of the season by throwing 7 innings of 3 hit ball against the San Diego Padres Saturday.  He gave up 1 run while striking out 7 and walking only 1 batter.

Our Instinct:  Kershaw has given up only 1 run in the past 15 innings.  In the process he has struck out 16 batters, while walking 5.  He’s now 3-2 with a 3.55 era, 52 k’s, and 29 walks.  Despite his era reaching 4.99 just 11 days ago, hes finally showing that talent that will make him a true ace eventually.
