Cubs | 3B Josh Vitters hitting Double-A pitching well
by Thomas Belmont on May 21, 2010
Chicago Cubs 3B prospect Josh Vitters went 2-4 with his 4th 2B raising his average to .361 during his AA stint.
Our Instinct: Vitters is loving Southern League pitching thus far. The fact that he keeps hitting despite a poor bb% shows just how advanced his hitting ability is, but he really needs to start advancing his discipline if he’s going to be the elite hitter that the Cubs are hoping for.
