Orioles | SP Jake Arrieta ringing them up and sitting them down
by Aaron Bentley on May 22, 2010
Baltimore Orioles SP prospect Jake Arrieta improved to 4-1 on the year with a dazzling 7-inning performance.
OUR INSTINCT: After a stretch of four mediocre starts, Arrieta kept his walks down and struck out 10 over 7 innings. Most importantly, he got more ground balls than he recently has with a 1.75 GO/AO ratio in
this start. Arrieta is firmly in the conversation to be the next guy called up to help the O’s rotation.
