Marlins | OF prospect Mike Stanton turns the power back on
by Thomas Belmont on May 23, 2010
Florida Marlins top prospect Mike Stanton went 5-10 with 2 HR and 6 RBI the past two games raising his season average to .313. Our Instinct: After a 10 game HR drought many thought the power would never come back. Alright, that’s not true. But with elite power prospects there will be times of famine. Growing pains at the next level are going to happen and the improved 34/42 bb/k ratio for Stanton this season says that he’ll adjust yet again. In time, this is a pitchers worst nightmare.
