Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz went 2 for 4 with a home run in a 6-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.
Our Instinct: After a horrible April in which Ortiz hit .143 with 1 hr and 4 rbi, he’s had a pretty awesome May. He’s raised his average to .256 to go along with 9 hr, 23 rbi, and 17 runs. It looks like the big man is back to being a good option in fantasy leagues.
Closing in on 25 years of following the greatest game in the world very closely. I can remember as a kid how excited I was when a player that I had watched in the minors make his major league debut.
