Pittsburgh Pirates SS prospect Brock Holt went 4-5 with a double yesterday raising his average to .344 on the season.
Our Instinct: Holt is an unheralded prospect despite an excellent 2009 campaign. He’s been on the radar since last year and is proving that 2009 was no fluke. He’s a gutsy Middle Infielder considered by many to be a true gamer. He has the ability to flash league average power at a position that the Pirates are in need of. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on. You heard it here first.
