Red Sox | SP Jon Lester one hits Tamp Bay
by George Utter on May 26, 2010
Red Sox SP Jon Lester pitched 6 innings of 1 hit ball in a 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Lester also had 9 k’s and 5 walks.
Our Instinct: Lester was dominant in this game, however he’s lucky the 5 walks didn’t catch up with him. The Fact that he threw 112 pitches in 6 innings is also a little disturbing. Still, you can’t argue with the production from a fantasy point of view. He’s sitting on a 2.99 era.
