Colorado Rockies SP prospect Tyler Matzek dominated in his debut for the Asheville Tourists.
Our Instinct: Getting his first taste of professional baseball in the Class A South Atlantic League, Matzek was nasty. He struck out five and surrendered only one hit over five innings. The lefty did walk four and hit a batter but it was his first start outside of high school. Matzek is considered to have great control and command and should refine those skills as he continues in pro ball.
