Diamondbacks | Prospect 3B Matt Davidson impressive
by Thomas Belmont on May 29, 2010
Arizona Diamondbacks 3B prospect Matt Davidson went 2-2 with his 7th HR of the season while scoring 4 times raising his season average to .298.
Our Instinct: Davidson is out hitting and outslugging fellow Diamondbacks 3B prospect Bobby Borchering in LowA so far this season and Davidson is actually the better bet to stick at 3B defensively long term. We still like Borchering as a power prospect long term, but right now it doesn’t look like he’s going to be the 3B of the future in Arizona. That may very well be Matt Davidson.
