Mariners | SP Felix Hernandez can’t buy a win
by George Utter on May 30, 2010
Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez was denied a win after RP Brandon League served up a game ending grand slam to Los Angeles Angels 1B Kendry Morales on Saturday.
Our Instinct: King Felix is 2-4 with a 3.55 era, 65 k’s, and 25 walks in 72 innings on the season. In his last 4 starts he is 0-1 despite giving up 7 runs in 28 innings. Hernandez hasn’t quite been himself yet this year, but run support and bullpen issues have really taken its toll on him.
