Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay pitched the 20th perfect game in the history of baseball on Saturday. He struck out 11 Florida Marlins in the 1-0 victory.
Our Instinct: Halladay is now 7-3 with a 1.99 era, 70 k’s, and 12 walks in 86 innings pitched. The perfect game is the 2nd this month in baseball. Oakland A’s SP Dallas Braden had one as well. Halladay remains the top pitcher in baseball and a favorite for the NL CY Young award.
