Cubs | SP Carlos Silva still causing head scratching

Chicago CubsChicago Cubs SP Carlos Silva picked up his 8th win of the season by holding Pittsburgh Pirates to 1 run over 7 innings, striking out 5, while walking 1 and giving up 4 hits.

Our Instinct:  Silva is now 8-0 with a 2.93 era, 49 k’s, and 12 walks in 67 innings pitched.  What more can you expect?  Keep starting him, but we still say you should sell, sell, sell, while you can, can, can.

Closing in on 25 years of following the greatest game in the world very closely. I can remember as a kid how excited I was when a player that I had watched in the minors make his major league debut. The same holds true today. We designed Baseball Instinct with that in mind; getting you the fan excited to get out and see the see the stars of tomorrow - today!
