Cubs | SP Carlos Zambrano returns to the win column as a starter
by George Utter on June 10, 2010
Chicago Cubs SP Carlos Zambrano pitched 5 innings and picked up his 1st win since April 10th against the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday night.
Our Instinct: Zambrano’s control was a bit shaky as 42 of his 88 pitches were for balls which resulted in 5 walks and a hit batter. Consider him an end of the rotation option and nothing more.
