Twins | OF Delmon Young hits seventh home run of the season
by George Utter on June 10, 2010
Minnesota Twins OF Delmon Young went 1 for 4 with a solo hr in a 6-2 win over the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday.
Our Instinct: Young is currently hitting .274 with 7 hr, 35 rbi, 23 runs, and 3 sb. He doesn’t seem to be developing into the 30/30 guy that a lot of people, myself included, thought he would be. Despite this being his 5th season in the majors, he still is only 24 years old and has time to turn it on and turn it loose. What is encouraging is that his k/bb ratio is drastically improving this year. We still feel that he will have a great career.
