Baltimore Orioles SP Jake Arrieta picked up his first major league win by striking out 6 New York Yankees in his major league debut.
Our Instinct: Not an easy assignment for your Major League Debut, but Arrieta came through with flying colors. We like to toot our own horn around here, and Arrieta is no exception. We told you all last year that we thought he would be the best of the big three (Tillman, Matusz, and Arrieta), and we are sticking with that. Our minor league expert, Tom Belmont, gladly excepts cash donations.
