Pirates | 3B Pedro Alvarez to make his debut today
by George Utter on June 16, 2010
Pittsburgh Pirates 3B prospect Pedro Alvarez will make his major league debut today against the Chicago White Sox and bat sixth.
Our Instinct: Alvarez is ranked #15 on our 2010 Top 100 prospects. The 23 year old was hitting .277 with 13 hr, 53 rbi, 42 runs, and 4 sb. He’s very talent and should provide some pop for the Pirates.
