Our Instinct: Mauer vs Jimenez. That alone makes this a game well worth watching. Jimenez, who is 12-1 with 3 complete games, 2 shutouts, and a 1.16 era is not going to win 30 games. However, we do feel hes got a shot at being the Rockies 1st 20 game winner and within reason of reaching 25 wins. With Roy Halladay’s implosion yesterday, he will add a little distance in the NL CY Young race between himself and Halladay/Wainwright with a good showing tomorrow.
