Reds | 2B Brandon Phillips caught speeding
by Thomas Belmont on June 26, 2010
Brandon Phillips was arrested and charged with reckless driving Friday night before being released on $25 bond.
Our Instinct: He even shows above league average speed off the basepaths. Phillips was arrested for doing 72 in a 35. With his Mom in the car. Well, he wasn’t arrested for the second part, although that’s the pretty reckless part. We’re sure he’ll be able to afford the $25 Bond set and should be fine for the Reds next game where his fantasy owners hope his speeding ways continue in 2007 form.
