New York Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez had a double and a solo hr against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday Night.
Our Instinct: A-rod is hitting .283 with 10 hr, 51 rbi, 39 runs, and 2 stolen bases. That only projects out to .283-23-117-89-5 on the season, and while that would be acceptable for most 3B, that’s pretty pedestrian for Alex. The 34 year old always heats up in July and August, so there’s a good chance that his numbers will look more like .300-33-120-100-10 by season end, and that’s more of what we expect from him.
