Reds | 1B Joey Votto blasts 18th home run
by George Utter on July 1, 2010
Cincinnati Reds went 1 for 4 with his 18th hr of the season in a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday.
Our Instinct: Votto is hitting .312 with 18 hr’s, 55 rbi, 50 runs, and 7 sb. He’s on a .312-38-118-107-15 pace for the season. If you want to do better at 1B than Votto, you need to have Miguel Cabrera or Albert Pujols. Even then, you’re not doing too much better.
