Kansas City Royals SP Zack Greinke went 8 innings giving up 6 runs on 10 hits and no walks. He struck out 3 in route to a 7-6 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Our Instinct: Greinke is now 4-8 with a 3.94 era, 92 k’s, and 20 walks. He’s not going to win the CY Young, but his season is improving. After starting out 1-8 on the season, things are looking up. Theres no reason to think he can’t pull out 12 wins on the season. Amazingly enough, after being one of the most over spent on players during fantasy auctions, there’s a chance you can get him pretty cheap from other fantasy owners who gave up on him him 3 weeks ago.
