Mets | 1B Ike Davis hits tenth home run
by George Utter on July 5, 2010
New York Mets OF Ike Davis went 1 for 4 with a 2 run hr in a win over the Washington Nationals on Sunday.
Our Instinct: Davis is hitting .261 with 10 hr’s, 38 rbi, 40 runs, and 1 sb in 253 ab’s. The 23 year old is on a pace to hit .261-22-82-89-2. Not a bad line for a rookie. If he can get his average up a little, Franando Tatis may end up spelling him less often.
