Mets | RP Francisco Rodriguez nets twentieth save
by George Utter on July 5, 2010
New York Mets RP Francisco Rodriguez closed out a perfect 9th inning Sunday to pick up his 20th save of the season.
Our Instinct: K-Rod rebounded nicely after giving up 3 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks on Friday to get a blown save loss. He’s 2-2 with a 2.57 era, 52 k’s, 16 walks, and 20 saves in 42 innings. He’s a top 10 closer and is on a pace for 40 saves and over 100 k’s.
