Washington Nationals OF Adam Dunn exploded for three homeruns and five rbi against San Diego. With this outing, Dunn raises his batting average to a cool .280.
Our Instinct: Is there any hitter as consistent as Adam Dunn? Since 2004, Dunn has hit 46, 40, 40, 40, 40, and 38 homeruns and 102, 101, 92, 106, 100 and 105 rbi. And low and behold, as we come up against the All Star break, Adam has 20 homeruns and 54 rbi. Yeah, he still strikes out 1 out of ever 3 at bats, but you can’t scoff at the production.
