Philadelphia Phillies 1B Ryan Howard 3 for 4 with a walk off hr and 3 rbi in a 9-7 come from behind win over the Cincinnati Reds Friday night.
Our Instinct: Howard is hitting .299 with 17 hr’s, 65 rbi, and 55 runs. He’s on pace to hit .299-32-124-105-0. After hitting 58, 47, 48, and 45 hr’s - 32 isn’t going to cut it for fantasy owners. One thing to consider however, he is on a career pace for hits, doubles, and triples. We think after the All-Star game he’s likely to go on a streak. A line of .288-40-130-110-3 is more in line to finish out the season.
