Royals | SP Sean O’Sullivan starts again against Yanks
by David Reiffer on July 25, 2010
Kansas City Royals SP Sean O’Sullivan will try to beat the New York Yankees for the second time in five days, once as a member of the Angels (in his first major league start) and now, through a trade, as a Kansas City Royal. In his first start against NY, he went 6 innings, gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, 3 walks, and 4 strikeouts.
Our Instinct: O’Sullivan has good stuff. A 93-94 mph heater, a curveball, and a decent change-up. We like his chances for winning ballgames a whole lot better as an Angel obviously, but watch this kid. With another solid outing against an offensive behemoth like New York, this kid will be on everyone’s radar.
