Peter Bourjos went 4-5 yesterday with 2 HR, a double and a single, just a triple short of the cycle.
Our Instinct: Peter Bourjos has been overshadowed by the breakout of young Mike Trout in the Angels system, but Bourjos is an excellent prospect in his won right. He’s an exceelent OF with speed and average power. He has the making of a top of the lineup leadoff or #2 type. Yesterdays performace puts his season average at .316 with a 11 HRs and 27 SBs. So for you fantasy leaguers out there… it’s going to cost you for Trout, but you might be able to steal Bourjos from someone. I stand by my Top 100 ranking of Bourjos.
