Royals | Prospect Hosmer Homers Again
by Thomas Belmont on July 27, 2010
Eric Hosmer 1B prospect for the Royals hit his 5th HR in a 1-3 effort.
Our Instinct: The Homerun is part of a power surge for Hosmer who had a great first half in High A. The move from an extreme pitchers park to a hitters park and the warmer weather is going to make Hosmer’s new found power seem like a breakout. The fact is that his IsoP has been excellent all season. We’re just going to see more of those doubles turn into HRs now and with that more press for Hosmer.
