Rays | RP Rafael Soriano nails save while cutting Yankees lead
by George Utter on July 31, 2010
Tampa Bay Rays RP Rafael Soriano pitched a 1-2-3 9th inning as the Rays defeat the New York Yankees to move within 1 game of the 1st place Yanks.
Our Instinct: Soriano is 2-0 with a 1.77 era, 34 k’s and 9 walks over 40.2 innings. He’s moved into the elite class of relief pitchers and seems to be right at home with the Rays.
