Indians | SP Josh Tomlin another strong performance
by David Reiffer on August 1, 2010
Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin added another strong performance in his second major league start. Against Toronto, Tomlin pitched 5.1 innings, allowing 4 hits, and giving up only 1 run with 5 strikeouts.
Our Instinct: Adding this effort to his major league debut against the Yanks, Tomlin has given up only 2 runs in 12.1 innings of work with 7 k’s and only 2 walks. If you are looking for an arm for your fantasy team, snatching Tomlin out of the free agent boneyard in deeper leagues wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Just keep your expectations in check.
