White Sox | SP Gavin Floyd scores 11th consecutive quality start agains OAK
by David Reiffer on August 2, 2010
Chicago White Sox SP Gavin Floyd continued his hot streak Sunday by holding the Oakland A’s to 1 run in 7 innings.
Our Instinct: Floyd improved his record to 7-8 on the season and dropped his ERA to 3.54. After a disastrous start to the season, Gavin has only given up 3 runs in his last 40 innings pitched and hasn’t give up a homerun since June 2. He is a large reason why Chicago is leading the AL Central right now.
