Blue Jays | SP Brandon Morrow giveth then taketh
by George Utter on August 3, 2010
Toronto Blue Jays SP Brandon Morrow gave up 5 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks, but struck out 9 in his 5 innings of work to pick up a win over the New York Yankees on Monday.
Our Instinct: Morrow is 7-6 with a 4.79 era, 134 k’s, and 55 walks over 118.1 innings. He’s struck out 23 batters over his last 18 innings. He’s going to strike out 200 + for the season. If you can deal with the long balls and the high era, he’s actually not too bad of an option most nights out.
