Rangers | 1B Jorge Cantu Platooning
by George Utter on August 3, 2010
Texas Rangers 1B Jorge Cantu is in a platoon situation with 1B Mitch Moreland, though manager Ron Washington is down playing any significance.
Our Instinct: Well, this cuts into Cantu’s fantasy value, but just how much will be determined. At first glance you would think this is a lefty-righty decision, but after Cantu faced SP Dan Haren on Saturday, it’s still some what of a mystery. There’s no reason to bench Cantu at this point.
