Cleveland Indians (Double-A Akron Aeros) 2b Jason Kipnis keeps up hot hitting against Altoona going 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 rbi tonight.
Our Instinct: The 23-year-old Kipnis is a rising star at second base and with a solid finish to this season he may not be too far off from the bigs. Across two levels of minor league ball this season, Kippy has hit .314 with 25 doubles and 12 homers, plus 54 runs batted in.
