Washington Nationals OF Mike Morse hit his 8th hr of the season in a 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers Sunday.
Our Instinct: Morse has been getting regular playing time since about the the 1st of July and has hit over .300 with 5 hr’s in that time. He’s hitting .316 with 8 hr’s, 20 rbi, and 14 runs on the season. If you got someone banged up in your OF or your DH spot, you might consider Morse in those deeper leagues as a stop gap. The 28 year old journeyman isn’t a long term option, however.
