Tigers | 1B Miguel Cabrera dry spell
by George Utter on August 10, 2010
Detroit Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera is in a 2 for 23 slump and has not had a hr or an rbi since August 1st.
Our Instinct: Cabrera is hitting .343 with 26 hr’s, 93 rbi, 76 runs, and 2 sb. His average has taken an 8 point hit and has fallen behind Josh Hamilton in that category. He still leads the majors in runs batted in, however hes way behind Jose Bautista in hr’s. Any chance of a triple crown is probably dead now unless he just goes Bananas over the next 51 games.
