Twins | SP Brian Duensing picks up his fifth win
by George Utter on August 10, 2010
Minnesota Twins SP Brian Duensing went 7 innings giving up 3 earned runs and striking out 3 as the Twins beat the Cleveland Indians 5-4 on Sunday.
Our Instinct: He’s 5-1 with a 2.27 era, 38 k’s and 17 walks in 67.1 innings on the season. He’s been steady, but short of overwhelming. He has 5 starts under his belt since mid July, and while he won’t hurt you by giving up many runs, he sure doesn’t help out much with strikeouts. Still, he’s a decent end of the rotation option in fantasy leagues.
