Baltimore Orioles SP Zach Britton served up 1 run on 3 hits and 3 walks to go with 6 k’s in a 6 inning quality start win againts the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.
Our Instinct: An impressive outing against a tough American League opponent for the 23 year old lefty. Don’t expect every outing to go this smoothly, but he’s certainly someone you should roll with for now against the right match ups. If things progress with Brian Matusz, Jake Arrietta, Chris Tillman, and Britton – The Orioles could have a pretty amazing rotation on their hands.
