Farwell Ken Griffey Jr - One of the greatest players to ever play the game we love.  He was an amazing players for many fantasy baseball owners for many years.  The game will surely miss this true professional who played the game the right way.

Joe Mauer and Victor Martinez lead the way on our Projection Instinct: 2010 Fantasy Catchers. Mauer and Martinez make up the top tier, and while Mauer is one of the most valuable players in fantasy baseball at any position, Martinez and his C/1B eligiability isn't too far behind.

Alex Rodriguez and David Wright lead the way on our Projections Instinct: 2010 Fantasy Third Basemen. The top 2 tiers feature 9 guys any fantasy owner would love to have.  The 3rd tier is extremely shallow, while the next 12 players after that are pretty even and you should be able to expect good buy there in fantasy baseball auctions.

Albert Pujols and Mark Teixeira power the assault on our Projection Instinct: 2010 Fantasy First Basemen. Pujols is in a class of his own, but Teixeira, Fielder, Gonzalez, Howard, and Cabrera are all elite. 1B is a very strong position and in fantasy baseball auctions, a lot of money gets spent here.  There is a lot of solid options here and a couple with sleeper potential as well.

Spring Training is a time of great joy across the baseball landscape.  A time where legends are crafted, and hopes are either lifted or dashed.  Every team starts spring training with the goal of a winning season.  Cubs fans, in a manner routine every pre-season, are once again claiming that "this is the year".  I certainly hope so.  Every week another Cubs fan dies, disappointed.

Shortstop Jose Reyes ,of the New York Mets, today told reporters that he feels like a little kid in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  In his first work out session of the spring, he was said to be very quick.  How quick?  That hasn't been mentioned yet, but it's a huge part of Jose Reyes' game and all eyes, including prospective fantasy owners, will be on Reyes this spring.

Last week, The United States government removed Leslie Anderson, a Cuban defector from it's blocked list.  They no longer deem him as a threat to spread communism through out the western world, nor will he use his untold wealth-to-be to finance the Cuban government.
