On the 2009 campaign, Greinke only had 5 starts where he gave up 4 or more runs. He qualified for a decision in every start, throwing no fewer than 5 innings in every outing, and he went only 5 innings 4 times. That's impressive.

A less touted HS arm in the 2009 draft was Madison Younginer and it wasn't because he lacked a power arm. A lack of exposure allowed the Red Sox to get what I believe to be a steal in Younginer. He throws a mid 90s fastball with good life and should easily add and additional 2-3 mph to that fastball as he matures.

My life consists of my Family and Baseball. After 25 years in New York I moved to South Florida and found a love for the minor leagues and with that came my love for prospecting. It won't take long for him to be ready and he will hit right out of the box, they just need to find his position. He's athletic enough to play CF and probably even learn 2B relatively quickly.

Posey is going to be a team leader. He's versatile, athletic and an excellent hitter. He is as close to a can't miss catcher as they come. Before we get into breaking down his swing let's take a quick look at the stat lines for his professional career thus far.

Chipper Jones is a true professional, club house leader, and a good person. Love him or hate him, he is Atlanta Braves' baseball. When a guy like Jones says his mechanics were off last season, you got to take him at his word.

St Louis Cardinals' Albert Pujols and New York Yankees Mark Teixeira lead the way in our 2010 fantasy first basemen projections.

On most prospect lists, you will find Strasburg’s name in the top three, and usually you will find it sitting at number one. We have ranked Strasburg #2, and based on absolute upside, #1 or #2 is absolutely the perfect place for him. However, the other nine players in our top 10 are more likely to reach their ultimate long term upside than is Strasburg.

Somehow, Jason Heyward slipped to the 14th pick in the 2007 MLB Draft. Today, he stands alone as the best player in minor league baseball. But we are not here to tell you everything you already know about Heyward. There is no reason to spend paragraphs discussing how Heyward is a pure hitter with elite plate discipline and a strong throwing arm.

Halladay moves from the Toronto Blue Jays who scored 798 runs in 2009 to the Philadelphia Phillies who scored 820. Defensively, both teams rated pretty close. He went 6-7 with a sub 3.00 era vs the Yankees, Red Sox, and Rays. Roy also went 0-0 in 10 innings vs the Marlins and Braves, he posted a 0.90 era in his only 2 interleague games.

Coming into this season, Hamilton is healthy and happy to be back to his toe tapping batting stance. He's also pleased with the Rangers commitment to win. The pitching staff looks great and he will have Designated Hitter Vladimir Guerrero hitting behind him.
